Dame Rosanne Meo DNZM OBE

Dame Rosanne Meo was formally recognised for her services to business and for the not-for-profit sector in this year’s New Year’s Honours list.  Dame Rosanne was the first woman to chair a NZSX listed company. She currently chairs the Briscoe’s Group, the Auckland Philharmonia, the REINZ and AMP Services.  Dame Rosanne has a message that will inspire those who are looking for the balance between family, lifestyle and a career path.

 

Gordon Tietjens CNZM

Gordon Tietjens is a high achiever and perhaps the most successful New Zealand coach of modern times. Gordon is renowned for his emphasis on fitness in brutal training sessions yet he manages to develop a remarkable team spirit. Under his coaching the New Zealand 7’s team has won 9 of the 12 World Series played and won four consecutive Commonwealth Games medals. He recently published his book “Titch : Sevens is my game”.


Grant Spencer

Grant Spencer is Deputy Governor and Head of Financial Stability for the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ). Previous positions held by Mr Spencer at the RBNZ include Assistant Governor and Head of Economics and Chief Manager, Financial Markets.  Between 1995 and 2004 Mr Spencer worked for the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) in various roles including Head of Strategy and Business Development (NZ) and New Zealand Treasurer. He also worked at the International Monetary Fund between 1990 and 1993, including a period as Alternate Executive Director. Mr Spencer holds a BA(Hons) from Victoria University and an MSc from the London School of Economics.
